Why subscribe?
My free video content has no written recipes or instructions, because I believe in using recipes as a framework, not a precise formula. I want to teach you to develop a gut feel for the ingredients and techniques of Indian cooking. Think of it as developing your own personal style (“andaaz”) and skills of cooking improvisation, kind of like a raga inspired by the culinary tapestry of South Asia.
Paid Content (Spiceclub Members)
Becoming a paid subscribers gives you membership in the Spiceclub. Spiceclub paid content has several perks:
Written Recipes: I appreciate that many people still want written recipes. On Fridays with the weekly video cooking lesson, paid subscribers (a.k.a. Spiceclub members) get a written recipe including quantities, descriptions, and everything you need to recreate the dish at home.
Monthly Live-streamed Cooking Lessons: I host a monthly cooking lesson the first week of each month where the EasyIndianFood community comes together. I take questions while we cook together.
Monthly Spicecard in the mail: Each month Spiceclub members receive a spice shipment and recipe card (we call it the “spicecard”) in their mailboxes, so they have exactly what they need to cook alongside us during the monthly live-streamed cooking lesson.
Interviews with Indian Food Bloggers: I bring special friends from the world of Indian cooking on the show to get their unique take on Indian cuisine.
